THE BUY BLACK EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVE (BBEI) COMMITTEES AND GOALS

Education Goals:

To inform and educate members of our community of the benefits of patronizing, supporting and growing Black Owned Businesses.

 

Development Goals:

Research data on Black Owned businesses and their impact on job creation, wealth development, community stabilization and safe neighborhoods. Develop strategies to increase the rate of turnover of dollars that benefit the African American community.

 

Documentation Goals:

To document participation in the Buy Black Empowerment Initiative and its impact on Black Owned Businesses.

 

Mobilization Goals:

To recruit participation in the BBEI from individuals, organizations and institutions of our community.

 

Evaluation Goals:

Provide an ongoing analysis of data collected and report the benefits of supporting Black Owned Businesses.
